3M is taking proactive steps to reduce our reliance on persistent materials through innovation.
We will exit per- and polyfluoroalkyl substance (PFAS) manufacturing and work to discontinue the use of PFAS across our product portfolio by the end of 2025. Until that point, we are deeply focused on making and using these materials responsibly.
3M is committed to driving strong safety and environmental sustainability at our sites that manufacture fluorochemistries today.
The health and safety of our employees, their families, and our communities are important priorities to 3M.
